The color red is not only reserved for Valentines day or Christmas. Brides can select this theme for their wedding day colors. The color red is a bold color which often says a passionate statement. You can try and incorporate the color scheme into your wedding invitations.
A modern and hip invite would be a card which is red on the outside and white on the inside. Divide the card into three sections by making the two sides overlap in the middle. The two sides can be an oblong shape in the color red. Inside the wedding words can be written in red on top of a white background. The overlap will show part of your wedding words at the top and foot of the invite. Secure the invite with a white ribbon across the centre. A beautiful but simple card ready to send to your guests.
Brides may select red wedding invitation kits instead for their cards. The kits can be purchased and come ready with red cards and red inserts for your words, envelopes and if your require ribbons, bows or glitter. You need to supply your own glue sticks or tubes. A straight forward invite would be to take a plain red card and then insert another red card onto the top of the plain card. You would need to make this card smaller in size which when placed on top of the bottom card looks like a border is around the edge. The wedding words can either be printed or written in black as a contrast.
If you prefer a slightly different color to red why not go for claret wedding invitations. You can try a petal design in claret. The card when open resembles four petals from a a flower with you invitation details on the inside of the flower design. The four petals can be claret in color with your invite in white with claret or red writing and a single red bow to finish off your classy invite.
Enjoy taking your time looking over red invitations for your up coming wedding. Perhaps you can have a class of claret to match your color theme.
